"When you teach someone how to play music, you give them a beautiful gift that will last their entire life"
I have been teaching music for over 20 years and I have a passion to share my knowledge and expertise with others.
A mum of 2 beautiful girls (and a gorgeous Shih Tzu named Maestro!), I have extensive experience teaching flute, clarinet, saxophone, piano and theory to students of all ages and skill levels from beginners to advanced players. I also perform at functions, parties and events. I am a professional woodwind instrument repairer and have recently expanded into the ever growing popularity of sound therapy, focussing on deep relaxation and self-healing.
My goal as a teacher is to inspire my students to develop their musical skills, explore their creativity, and find their own unique sound through music. I believe music has the power to bring people together and enrich our lives in countless ways. I am excited to help my students discover the joy and fulfilment that comes from making music.
and Most Importantly...
Playing Music Is Fun!
My approach to teaching music is tailored to each student's individual needs and interests. I believe that learning music should be a fun and enjoyable experience and I strive to make my lessons engaging and inspiring. I focus on developing a strong foundation in music theory, technique and ear training, while also encouraging my students to explore their own musical interests and creativity.
